Overwhelmed

It has been a whirlwind week since I announce my departure from the practice to join Johns Hopkins. I have been overwhelmed by the response from many of you and I am working diligently trying to keep as many of you under my care as possible. My first order of business is to find a new home for my outpatient practice within the Johns Hopkins universe. I am still going to keep an active outpatient practice and I am working with JHCP in finding a location as close to Laurel as possible. There are several locations that might be suitable and they are Odenton, Columbia, and Laurel. Only one of the locations (Odenton) has an internal medicine department. The two others (Columbia and Laurel) both contain only Family Practice and OB/GYN.

The main obstacle is physical space. All the locations do not simply have any space to accommodate an additional provider. The worse case scenario would involve me temporarily moving to Baltimore until a space opens up or they find a larger location to house my practice. In any case, I will be available to continue to care for any person who wishes to follow me to my new location. Thank you for our support and I will update this site as more information becomes available.
